That government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish!
We get nowhere watching the debates these days. You need an instant fact check,,, (from an unbiased source), with every comment made by the people involved. What good is that! A country does not prosper by how well a President Speaks, or by how Presidential he looks, or by what “HE” says that he will do. A Country prospers by how well he leads, by the programs and legislation he “Pushes” in Congress and whether he is able to set forth an Agenda and get it done. That folks is how a Country prospers.
The USA has had 4 years of a man who, “Talks Good”, “Who some folks say, Looks Presidential”, who started out with “Complete Control of Congress, with Majority Party’s in both Houses”, and yet he could not get his agenda, (thought by a great many to be Socialist and Communist) passed in a Congress he controlled. Mid-Term Americans were so unhappy with his actions they gave control of one Congressional House to the opposite Party, and since then our Country has had a stalemate. This President has taken our Country down the Path of Lawlessness, ignoring our Constitution and our National Laws, to the point of many folks questioning the very "Worth" of our Constitution. This President could not even pass a Budget for our country during his term in office. This President says that he wants another 4 years to try it all again.
His opponent has NOT held a National Office, but has been a State Governor. He seemed to do a fairly good job while in office in that State, and has lots of ideas about how to get things moving again in our Country. While in office as a State Governor, he had to deal the whole time with a Hostile Legislature controlled by the opposite party and he managed. (to me that says a lot)
Folks,, it is “ACTS”, not speaking ability, and “Looks” that are important, Race is NOT important, (I would vote for a one eyed, one horned flying purple people eater if is able to do a good job), it is a “RECORD” earned that is important. We do not need our Country to be in a stalemate any longer, we, (the Citizens of the USA, both Republican and Democrat want Progress, Jobs, prosperity) they want our Country to move forward for the better. Not empty Promises in fancy packages, but honest Progress, and a return to prosperity. That folks is ACTS!
Republican or Democrat, Voters,, the choice is easy this time. Leave the Parties, the rhetoric, the bull-SXXt behind. Vote, not for Party, not for Glitz, not for RACE, not for the dulcet tone of the “Pied Piper” but Vote instead for a chance for our Country to Progress, for jobs, for prosperity to return to our Land, for Law and Order, for the return to obeying our Laws and Constitution, for that is indeed what we ALL want.

1. At Best a Fleeting Tie for Obama. The Reality is a Cancer on His Campaign
I think Mitt Romney won the debate, but not by much. He flubbed a few good opportunities to really score decisive blows on the President, but definitely drew more blood. The CNN polling and CBS News polling confirm it. While more thought Barack Obama won the debate, largely because his last performance was so bad, clear majorities outside the margin of error thought Mitt Romney would be best on the economy, jobs, the deficit, etc. In fact, while other areas of the debate may overshadow this point, Romney deftly dispatched Obama on his economic record. That is the one issue that matters. It got so bad, Obama had to trot out Planned Parenthood and Big Bird.
Additionally, if you ever wondered who could be undecided at this point in the election, well now you know. Fear for the Republic. Why the debate commission thought it a good idea to go to Long Island, NY to hear from undecided voters in an area not considered a swing state is really beyond me.
Before I go anywhere else, one part of the debate is absolutely going to get overshadowed and I actually think it was one of the most critical exchanges. It showed just how out of touch Barack Obama is. It also explains why voters who thought Obama might have won the debate overwhelming thought Mitt Romney would do better on jobs and the economy.
The President tried to claim that the reason gas prices were so low in 2008 was because the economy was so bad. He actually wanted the audience to believe that the economy is going gangbusters now as a reason for $4.00 gasoline — a delusion the undecided voters clearly did not buy. His words — he said that gas prices were so low because of the economy, which clearly means he thinks it is so high now because of the recovery. What recovery? Romney hit him hard on this and the undecided voters reacted favorably to Romney. There is more room for Romney to hit Obama on the airwaves over gas prices.
This was an amazing and stunning show of total detachment from the reality of the American economic situation. I was stunned he said that.
Beyond that issue, even if we were charitable and declared the debate a tie, this debate spawned a cancer for Barack Obama that is going to do far more post-debate damage than some first imagined as the debate drew to a close. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
2. Romney vs Obama, Round II
Realistically, very few presidential debates have the kind of clear-cut winner that the first Romney-Obama debate did. It’s more productive to look at what each candidate came looking to accomplish. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
3. The Pigs At Obama’s Green Energy Trough
We have flushed billions of dollars we don’t have down the crapper pursuing a will 0’ the wisp in the form of green jobs and green energy. This is not to say the goal is laudable, it is. But good intentions do not compensate for squandered wealth, squandered opportunities and squandered lives.
The root cause of this mess is the Obama regime. It has waded into a marketplace it neither understands nor likes and has tried to develop a new industry out of whole cloth. The language boggles at attempting to describe the hubris necessary to undertake this endeavor. To add insult to injury, in a large number of these cases, over 71% of the cases if one want’s to put a number on it, the winners just happened to be major Obama donors and supporters. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
4. Another of Obama’s Cargo Cult Companies Fails
Yesterday the Danish wind turbine manufacturer, Vestas, announced it had laid off 800 US workers and as many as 1600 might be laid off by the end of the year.
This is an emerging trend in companies whose business model is based on rent-seeking under Obama’s “green energy” boondoggle, not producing a product anyone really wants. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
5. New Era Colorado May Have Violated Tax Exempt Status
In what appears to be a violation of its tax exempt status as an organization governed under section 501(c)3 of the IRS code, New Era Colorado dropped campaign literature advocating the election of specific candidates. The “Voting Guide” provided by New Era Colorado lists Democratic candidates in state and federal elections who have received the “thumbs up” from New Era Colorado. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
6. Sect. of Interior Ken Salazar Violated Hatch Act
Former White House counsel associate Scott Coffina accused U.S. Secretary of Interior Ken Salazar of violating the Hatch Act during a recent campaign trip to Colorado. The Colorado Observer broke the story of the possible Hatch Act violation today. Salazar, along with Sen. Udall, Sen. Bennet, and Gov. Hickenlooper participated in an RV tour of Colorado in support of President Obama’s reelection. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
