Hi all,Our club is sponsoring a video lecture and campus discussion next Sunday night on China and international relations!! The specifics are below-Dr. David Lampton-Dean of Faculty; George and Sadie Hyman Professor of China Studies;Director of the China Studies Program, John Hopkins School of AdvancedInternational Studies-A lecture originally delivered at the World Trade Center (Baltimore) and attended by 332 individuals on March 21, 2007-"Chinese Power and What It Means for the World"Goucher Republicans and Libertarians are sponsoring the airing of this lecture with the express purpose of:1) furthering the political debate on campus and2) addressing pertinent issues with LIVELY DEBATEWe will be showing the movie (tentatively) inVan Meter B11 at 1:30 pm next Sunday, October 25th!The recorded lecture will end at approximately 2:45, and we hold a debate on the topic matter directly afterwards!(Thanks go to the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs for making this lecture available to Goucher College.)Join the debate early on the Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=312709425382As always, food will be provided.
