The purpose of this rally is to raise the awareness of citizens to our loss of individual freedom to the federal government as America moves toward socialism and to raise the awareness of politicians that we will not tolerate this.Details of the rally are at www.defendourconstitution.org and FacebookWe are pleased that hundreds of Americans, especially the young Americans who will inherit our country, will be in attendance to insist that our politicians adhere to their sworn oaths of office to defend our Constitution and its insistence on individual freedom and liberty. The rally walk will begin at 1:00pm on the sidewalk across from the National Archives building on Constitution Avenue. Since this is a walk, the Capitol Police request that there be no chanting or banner waving until you reach the rally area. Buses can unload rally attendees at the National Archives prior to 1:00pm. Rally participants can walk from the Archives building down Constitution Avenue to the Upper Senate Park for the rally. Rally participants who are driving themselves to the rally can meet at the Archives rally point or meet at the Upper Senate Park. Upper Senate Park is directly adjacent to Union Station for those who are riding the METRO to the rally. What to Bring:This is a grass roots rally.
