Without any other deficits included, but strictly
the Federal Budget deficits we are chalking
up an amazing $4.38356 billion per day, on
average. And when we see the United States
Congress pass a Two week continuing
resolution which cuts 4 Billion in two weeks,
it is woefull short of the Mark. Our lawmakers
must begin the serious business of actually
balancing the budget.
All either party is doing is rearranging the
deck chairs on the titanic! If we were to cut the annual deficit by 4 billion every two weeks we could get the budget deficit down by July,2026, and that is in a static model where the carrying costs do not increase. And yet we know that the carrying costs would balloon as those years would continue rolling on. A major reduction in deficits must be begun forthrightly now. Any delay or false efforts only exacerbate the problem and continue the time bomb's ticking. Our nation is in great peril. The will and resolve must ^be brought to bear on this existential threat now!
