We see that Cuba is still the thug of the hemisphere. We have an example here provided by Investor's Business Daily. (IBD)
And this happens regularly in Cuba. A Cuban protest was met with similar reprisal in Washington, DC in the past in the face of Protests outside their offices, not an Embassy. And they have exported their form of reprisals, and brutal form of Control into Venezuela, where they have helped train the Chavista Security forces on how to put down unrest. And of course in Venezuela there is plenty reason to see unrest. Inflation has reached the highest levels in it's history. Food is becoming scarce. They have very little safety and security. People disappear from the streets. Opposition Party members are now imprisoned strictly on suspicion of any activity, that the Maduro Regime might suspect. The Venezuelans have allowed Cuban security to operate their identification offices, where they provide false Identifications for their friends who will transit from the Middle East, into Venezuela, pick up their Venezuelan ID's including life-long citizenship papers, with falsified passports, equivalent Social Security cards, and then they are dispatched to the US Southern Border, or flown into Canada, where they then travel into the United States across an almost unrestricted Northern Border.
