HB 3785 (Relating to the nullification of unconstitutional federal laws that create or increase taxes and the enforceability of related federal tax liens or levies; providing for a filing fee and providing criminal penalties; clever approach to nullify Obamacare/PPACA) was passed favorably out of committee tonight!
This one is very important. The states have recourse to nullify Obamacare and HB 3785 is the LEGITIMATE APPROACH to get there! Please help get this discussion on the full House Floor! Oklahoma is already taking this same approach.
Reports say it has already been filed with the Calendars Committee! The deadline for House Calendarplacement is 10 p.m., Tuesday May 7, so all hands on deck, please!
Start making phone calls after the Calendars Committee office opens at 8:00 in the morning. Let the Clerk know that you are calling in support of Rep. Perry’s HB 3785. They will ask for your name, address, and if you are representing an organization/group or yourself. Let them know that you support HB 3785 and ask that the Calendars Committee place it on the House Calendar.
Also, please contact each member of the Calendars Committee (especially if your OWN REP is on the committee, making a point of identifying yourself as their constituent!) and voice your support for this bill, asking them to place it on the calendar ASAP. Contact info for all involved:
