Photosynthesis is vital for life on Earth. As well as maintaining the normal level of oxygen in the atmosphere, nearly all life either depends on it directly as a source of energy, or indirectly as the ultimate source of the energy in their food[2] (the exceptions are chemoautotrophs that live in rocks or around deep sea hydrothermal vents). The amount of energy trapped by photosynthesis is immense, approximately 100 terawatts:[3] which is about six times larger than the power consumption of human civilization.[4] As well as energy, photosynthesis is also the source of the carbon in all the organic compounds within organisms' bodies. In all, photosynthetic organisms convert around 100,000,000,000 tonnes of carbon into biomass per year.[5] This last sentence, that we have 100 Trillion Tons of Carbon converted into biomass per year created by photosynthesis, is a key to seeing the global ecological systems equilibrium. The inverse relationship is Respiration. Respiration as it relates to the carbon equation, breaks down biomass and releases CO2. Photosynthesis is the process that is generally understood to occur in all plant life. Photosynthesis is the chemical reaction that creates energy for all living plants, which can then be used by all other life to sustain its viability. Respiration is that chemical reaction to produce energy for life of all Animal life. Our ecological system called the earth, that which is resident to all known life in the universe, obviously has two opposing energy models, that which is photosynthesis creating energy & biomass, stores the energy in molecular bundles. Respiration is that energy system which is used by all life, including plants and animals, which are able to create energy from the energy stores that have been created by plant life. It is that break down that releases Carbon. The critical factor to the global warming debate is that we have this simple portion of the equation the sequestration of Carbon from the atmosphere into complex Carbon chains. This sequestration of Carbon to the greatest extent is taken from the air, and what molecular structure is utilized, the Atmospheric CO2. It is the natural process of removing Carbon from the atmosphere. We have much more CO2 being broken down being eliminated from the atmosphere, then being placed into the ground as biomass. We find this as those deposits that include, diamonds, the woman’s best friend, Coal, what all coal miners mine to maintain their living standards, Oil, the black gold, texas Tea, what made the Beverly Hill Billies Famous, and natural gas, the gas that cooks our food on our stove tops, methane that we find in our land fills, the debri that we find at the bottom of our forests, the dropped leaves, dead fallen branches, the fallen trees trunks, the Grass clippings, the debri that then creates top soil, the soil that is rich in organic material, think, read, Carbon Chains! These Carbon molecules that are stolen from the atmosphere are sequestered read this locked up for decades, centuries, millennium, and as a matter of fact for the Fossil Fuels, we are speaking Epochs! And we are constantly pulling out of the atmosphere more Carbon then is what is being put back in for those Epochs! We do not have a problem with too much Carbon in the atmosphere, we have an historically low level of CO2 in the atmosphere. You look at the levels that are described by Geologists, and you will see that we have the lowest levels studied.
