For you see, the President in a rainy Rose Garden press Conference on Thursday, May 16, 2013 said he didn't know about the Investigation regarding the IRS as it related to the Obstruction of c4 status by the IRS, over Liberty flavored group until just these last few days. Hear it again to refresh your memory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1coSh2xCqE&sns=em But now we hear a different take And yet incorporated in the hearings on Friday, the testimony seems very clearly to contradict the comments of the President during his Press Conference just sighted., for the official, the Treasury Inspector General J Russell George speaking under oath it is reported by Newsmax as having said, George said the purpose of his conversation " was to inform them of the fact that we were conducting the audit." This conversation took place with first, the General Counsel for the Treasury and then shortly after with Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Neal Wollin.. And here is the important fact, the conversations took place on June 4, 2012! And Newsmax stated that the following occurred, then the follow-up by the inspector General's Spokesperson, Karen Kraushaar, where she clarified the remarks during sworn testimony for the record where she said, the IG office "informed Department of Treasury officials that we were looking into the IRS' handling of applications for tax-exempt status, partly due to allegations raised by conservative organizations." The Treasury is part of the Executive Branch of Government. J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration, testifying alongside ousted IRS head Steven Miller on Friday, said he had told the department's general counsel about his investigation on June 4, 2012, and Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal Wolin "shortly thereafter." But, George cautioned, those discussions were "not to inform them of the results of the audit. It was to inform them of the fact that we were conducting the audit." After the hearing, inspector general spokeswoman Karen Kraushaar said George "informed Department of Treasury officials that we were looking into the IRS' handling of applications for tax-exempt status, partly due to allegations raised by conservative organizations." So this clearly shows that the President's Cabinet officials had some knowledge that the allegations of Obstruction by the IRS were occurring against liberty groups filing applications for c4 status. When something rises to the level of an Inspector General audit, and with that IG office putting the Secretary on notice as such, that begs the voracity of the testimony where the president states he knew nothing of it till April. It puts further credence to the argument that the IRS is an unfit body, not only to expand and oversee and administer Obamacare, but also have control over tax audits and enforcement of the Tax code and the unfettered process that it currently holds today, possibly strengthening the hand of those who want to end the IRS in its entirety. And most damming for the President it means that there needs to be full blown hearings with subpoenas to all involved from the lowest agents in the IRS to the highest. Where they are interrogated and all records from all emails officially known and unknown are also subpoenaed till we get to the bottom of this intrusion of the process by the WhiteHouse and the cover up that is now being attempted. We see these IRS revelations and the clear beginnings of an orchestrated coverup where this is becoming extremely reminiscent of a similar beginning to what caused and then became the second article of impeachment against President Nixon, and would have been filed had he not resigned before the formal impeachment vote was scheduled. Simply put, this is Damning!
