The Nature of Public Unionization

In light of recent revelations of the Public Unions in New York retarding their efforts in removal of Snow from New York streets I looked up information as to the doctrine on their existence, and their limitations. This is a critical circumstance, the clearing of snow and making roads passible. This is a public safety issue, which when impeded for political and economic arm twisting must be dealt with quickly and severely. A work slow down has proven fatal to the lives of certain Americans in New York for the wanton and blatant disregard of public safety and the elevation of contract negotiations and tactics that destroy public safety in an effort to gain leverage has proven to be fatal. The rules of the unions the employees and the union officials should and most probably do restrict these tactics of interference and outright criminal collusion. This activity must be challenged. The municipal employees who have not diligently executed their responsibilities must be fired. Further the union leadership must be held criminally accountable for their breech of contract and law to the fullest extent, including criminal prosecution, including incarceration, fines and termination of their rights to have any activity in the unions they have represented and the negotiations in any direct or indirect way, as well as severing of any salaries they will have earned.Addressing this problem reminds me of the breaches in safety, including those much more inadvertent by employees and officials in China. There once culpability is determined the responsible parties have in some cases been executed merely for poor management where lives have been jeopardized or lost, and these were in cases where the circumstances were not elevated to willful obstruction but only of malfeasance.  The loss of life due to this wanton, reckless disregard for public safety, And human life by the sanitation employees must be dealt with quickly and severely to the limits of the law. We must learn from this situation in honor of those who's lives were lost. In so doing we must re-evaluate the sheer existence of public sector labor unions.
